As major color lovers, we’re always curious to see what the December press release from the color experts at Pantone is going to be! This year, we were a bit surprised, they announced the color of the year is PANTONE® 18-3224 Radiant Orchid, but it’s already growing on us quickly and we’re anxious to see how this plays out in fashion and interiors (eh hem…surely a color crush post will be coming soon)! Actually as we scrolled through our recent color crushes, we were surprised to see some of this color sneaking in there. It’s always such an interesting phenomenon that across, cities, states, countries and oceans, whatever is going on in the world, be it in the entertainment industry, world politics, hot new artists, popular travel destinations or other socio-economic conditions, that these influences might make us all subconsciously be drawn to a certain color family. It’s so fascinating!
